The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) included the city of Prešov among 17 selected areas which can build an industrial park with state support.

Eastern Slovakia, the south border of the Prešov

Currently, the city of Prešov is evaluating two additional areas suitable for creation of industrial parks:

Industrial park Lominová - Široké

Planned area: 100 ha
Location: Eastern Slovakia, behind area of the ZVL Auto Company in Prešov
Documentation of territorial resolution is being prepared.
List of plots of related owners is being completed.

Industrial park Prešov - Grófske

Planned area: 300 ha (see a map of area No. 1)
Documentation of territorial resolution is being prepared.
List of plots of related owners is being completed.

From the perspective of further development, the city of Prešov has selected 7 potential areas in the territorial plan which are suitable for creation of additional industrial zones. The areas are still in private ownership. The technical infrastructure available on particular properties varies based on the location.
